21^st Annual GeoSymposium April 24^th and 25th 2025

 

The UNLV Geoscience Department will be hosting the 21 annual GeoSymposium on April 24^th – April 25^th!

GeoSymposium is a student-run research conference where graduate and undergraduate students present their research and receive feedback from members of industry, government professionals, academic experts, and members of the community.

Participants will have the opportunity to network with industry representatives while developing presentation skills.

Scholarships will be awarded to top-scoring presenters.

We are pleased to host Geosymposium on the UNLV campus at the Science & Engineering Building (SEB) this year. The event will include two keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations, and a career day event. Undergraduate and graduate students will once again be able to meet with professional geoscientists following presentations led by industry representatives.
