21st Annual Geosymposium: April 23rd – 25th 2026

Thank you all for being a part of the 21st annual Geosymposium!

We were honored to feature keynote presentations by Camille Calimlim Touton (Former Commissioner for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation) and Katie Chakhova (Barrick), along with a distinguished career panel that included Joseph Becker (Nevada Gold Mines), Zane Marshall (Southern Nevada Water Authority), Valerie Tu (Amentum), William Andrews (Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology), Geoffrey Moret (U.S. Geological Survey), and Stacie Gibbins (ExxonMobil).

Geosymposium is a student-run research conference where graduate and undergraduate students present their research and receive feedback from members of industry, government professionals, academic experts, and members of the community.

Participants will have the opportunity to network with industry representatives while developing presentation skills.

Scholarships will be awarded to top-scoring presenters.
